DaWanda

I came across this new(ish?) site, DaWanda Products With love, via the latest Selvedge newsletter. DaWanda, like Etsy, is the place for unique and individual products and people. I haven't had much time to scout around but I'm very impressed at what I did find in the Paper Goods section ....... I just bought this.

enfant terrible

I came across enfant terrible today, a site 'dreamt up in style and sustainability'.
Check out these gorgeous slippers by Pia Wallen and the i golfini della nonna range...a partnership run by two Italian sisters, with a womens co-operative in Bolivia, by way of Los Angeles (confused? Me too but their range really is gorgeous). This hand knitted world globe has to be my favorite.

Ida Pearle's Alphabet Cards

I really love these Alphabet Cards available from Mahar Drygoods. I came across them via the Bloesem Kids Blog.

Apple & Eve

I received this sweet parcel in the post from Germany yesterday. It came from Eva over at Apple & Eve. It was so beautifully wrapped... I didn't want to untie it. The wrapping was hand stitched with lovely wool and the thank you card....ohhhh.

This delightful bird was inside. He's even more delicate and beautiful than I imagined. You can see more of Eva's creations (there are birds, bunnies & kitties) over at her Etsy Store. Thank you Eva, I really do love him! xo

Snakin' around

I made this snakey friend over the weekend out of old wool scraps. I got the idea from an old Womens Weekly Knitting with Squares Craft book, which my Nanna lent me. The idea of the book is to make projects entirely out of squares sewn togehter. Simple. No increasing or decreasing, which I love.
Now that I have the toy buzz I came across the new Knitty this morning and they have a pattern by Anna from Mochimochi Land for these gorgeous Woodins. They look a little more involved than Snakey but feakin cute.

Geninne's new shop.

Geninne from Geninne's Art Blog, in Mexico, has recently opened her own etsy store. You'll find her beautiful watercolours available there in signed limited edition format, printed on either hand made paper or ply. I've been a big fan of Geninne's blog for sometime now, so I'm really excited about owning my very own piece.
Take a look at Geninne's house in Flickr. Built by her architect husband, Manol, his use of timber and lightfilled aspects are incredible.

Enviro-sax

I love my new enviro-sax. I bought the Graphic Series Flora Pouch set after reading about them on Amy's blog. The pouch contains 5 different flora designs. Each bag folds up into a tiny roll that fits into your pocket. Thanks to these tiny little suckers, I'll never be caught unprepared in the supermarket again.
I've taken them on a couple of test runs this week and stacked them full of goodies. They're made of nylon and super stitched for extra strength so they hold even your heaviest items without a strain. Plus, they're Australian.

BG Shop

Ok, I'm so excited I don't know where to start. I've just come across this incredible online Japanese Store called BG Shop. Take the link there or search through Google and hit the translate button.

This is a hint of what you'll find over there, cheerful Atelier Lzc cotton clothes. Honestly, hours will be spent there from here on out (and plenty of cash too).

My desire to organise everything is running overtime with these fantastic Shaker wooden boxes.

and these French cup and saucer sets (which are selling out fast). Oh, I'd love to take my morning coffee in one of these.
Head on over and have fun. Let me know if you buy anything!
